This piece of art work here is a framed 3d art thats in my livingroom. The colors makes it look a little boring but once u take a closer look, the details on it will have your eyes glued to it, which is what makes in interesting. Despite the fact that i think that colors makes it look boring, the colors on this piece all compliment eachother. So what your looking at is a frame of flowers in a vase. This is not just a regular flower in a vase, if u look closely u can see that its 3d, which is whats really cool about this. It's a flat surface that has a 3-d form to it. I think the purpose of this piece was to show that a frame art of a flowers in a vase doesnt always have to be flat/flat surfaced. If this wasnt 3-d it would be dull and extremely boring to look at. This makes your eyes wander more and you pay attention to every crease and detail. This isn't your ordinary frame of flowers in a vase and the flowers dont look so lively . I think that the artists purpose was to create-extra ordinary versions of ordinary objects.
Art is every where we go or land our eyes it all depends on your perspective. I can look at something and say its not art but someone can look at the same thing and say that it is. Its how u recieve it . Sometimes the most simplest form of art can have a deeper meaning ratther than something that has alot of angles,colors and shapes etc.
Hashley your images do not appear here so we cannot see what you are talking about. Please see me if you are having trouble posting pictures (your earlier post is also missing an image). While you describe the work a little it is a bit confused when you say it is a 3d work and a 2d work- which one is it?
