BP#3 Steaming Silence

This instance of accidental art is the top half of an elevator. This is in my grandmothers building on 127th and 8th avenue in Harlem. I've titled this Steamy Silence on behalf of the power the steel and aluminum wall resembles. Not only artists, but majority of Samaritans use elevators daily, within their homes, business places, and in my case college. This accidental art is monumental through my eyes thought people under estimate the power of elevators. Through my optimistic eyes I look at this wall and see strength to carry at least fifth teen thousand pounds to their desired level. Pessimists might only use staircases to travel up and down flights due to past gained tragedies. They might see an elevator and only see the darkness above them. Others may look at this wall and gain fear, they may look into the dark chambers to find themselves getting stuck and trapped within the treacherous silent walls. All silver, stands an aluminum wall divided in three lengthy rectangles by two vertical lines connecting above to an elevated steel boarder amongst the ceiling. This wall is two dimensional and it has a bumpy texture and multiple smaller rectangles all across the top perimeter. The surface quality is actual, not implied and the whole elevator is negative space with a light across it.
